The Natural History of Anolis robinsoni of Costa Rica

The Costa Rican anole Anolis robinsoni has been identified as a new species distinct from other aquatic or "scuba diving" anoles. In this book, originally prepared as Cruz Márquez' Master’s thesis, the authors describe this lizard's natural history. Anolis robinsoni is endemic to Costa Rica, and is believed to be restricted to the province of San José. It is a very important species among the Anolis group of lizards and could be critically endangered due to its small range and population size.
